Important - Calendar Days

Community Based Event is conducted on first and third Monday of the month.
Village Health Sanitation and Nutirtion Day is conducted on Friday and Immunisation day is Conducted along with VHN on Wednesday
On every 19th of the month, Early Childhood Care and Education day has been conducted in all AWCs.
Growth Monitoring is conducting on 15th and 30th of every month.

Although in Tamil Nadu State, Nutrition Indicators is less than National average as per NFHS4 data, Tamil Nadu strives hard to achive "malnutrition free state" status. The complimentary nutrition is provided to all eligible beneficiaries, thereby ensuring universalization of the nutrition programme.
